Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Sea Port is planning large-scale infrastructure development. The project includes the construction of a road-rail ferry complex and a modern container terminal.

According to the port’s director, Oksana Kiktenko, the initiative will be implemented within the framework of the Middle (Trans-Caspian) Transport Corridor. The route will be managed by a single operator – Middle Corridor Multimodal Ltd, a joint venture established by transport companies from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Georgia, with the participation of China Railway Container Transport.

In August, a general shareholders’ meeting was held in Baku, where participants discussed process digitalization, the elimination of “bottlenecks” along the route, and monitoring the transit times of container trains.

Additionally, Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Port has signed a memorandum of cooperation with APM Terminals Poti (part of the Maersk Group). This step will strengthen the port’s integration into international logistics chains and enhance its role in global transportation.
