Grain Wagon Unloading Rates in Odesa Region Ports Continue to Rise

According to the Deputy Director of the Department of Transportation Technology and Commercial Operations at JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia,” as of August 7, the average daily unloading of grain wagons in the ports of Greater Odesa reached 954 units per day — 493 more than the previous week.

In addition, the flow of grain wagons toward the Greater Odesa ports rose to 4,484 units per day, an increase of 1,075 compared to earlier. The average daily loading of wagons on the railway network toward the ports grew by 595 wagons, reaching 1,139 units per day.

In the port of Izmail, the accumulation of grain wagons over the week increased by 42 units to 118, while the average daily unloading rose to 56 wagons — 34 more than previously.
